Robert Plant and ZZ Top‘s Billy Gibbons are part of an impressive lineup that will perform at the third annual Love Rocks NYC benefit concert, taking place March 7 at the Beacon Theatre in New York.
The concert raises money for the God’s Love We Deliver charity, which provides nutritious meals to seriously ill people in the New York City area.
Whoopi Goldberg and Martin Short will host the event, which also will feature performances from blues legend Buddy Guy, Sheryl Crow, ex-Fabulous Thunderbirds guitarist Jimmie Vaughan, Taj Mahal, Hozier, Grace Potter, Keb Mo and many others.
The show’s house band will include the likes of Paul Shaffer and his longtime CBS Orchestra bandmate, bassist Will Lee, as well as former Bob Dylan and Levon Helm touring guitarist Larry Campbell and Eric Clapton touring drummer Steve Gadd.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the general public this Saturday, January 18, at 12 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster.com. Advanced tickets will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, January 16, at 12 p.m. ET.
