HASTINGS – Brickyard Park will be holding its annual Fourth of July Celebration tomorrow, hosted by the Hastings Parks and Recreation.
The food vendors will open up at 5:30. There will be a lot to choose from including Tony’s Tacos, barbecue pork from Kiwanis for a fundraiser, Tropical Sno, and a lot more.
Bases Loaded, a band from Kearney will be performing live music starting at 7:00. The fireworks will get underway at around 10:00.
Ryan Martin, the Recreation Superintendent for the Hastings Parks and Recreation, says this is an event for the whole family.
Going to be lots of barbeque choices out there, there is gonna be some mexican food which I am excited about because I like mexican food. And can’t go wrong with some popcorn, so that’ll be good to have. And it’ll be a great night, so bring all of your family, and friends, and neighbors, and make it a night on fourth of july.
The event is free and open to the public. Martin did want to remind people to bring lawn chairs. He also wanted to remind everyone that there is no smoking, vaping, or fireworks allowed at Brickyard Park.
