Give Hastings Day is Important to the Community

HASTINGS – Give Hastings Day is happening on Thursday and it’s not only a day to donate to different non-profits in Adams County, it’s also an opportunity to strengthen our community.

Amy Sandeen, a committee member for Give Hastings Day, says this is an important day.

It’s a great day to give back. There are 84 non-profits involved this year, which is more than ever before. And these are really important organizations to our community. Really helping strengthen where we live. And it’s a good day to support them in a way that gives back even more.

All of the money donated will stay in Adams County. Early giving has already begun and you can start giving at Information on all of the non-profits can be found there as well.

You can also drop checks off at the Hastings Community Foundation which is located on the second floor of the Heritage Bank Building at 800 West 3rd Street in downtown Hastings.

The goal this year is to raise $500,000.
