HASTINGS – The Hastings Valley Scottish Rite will be hosting a Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser on Sunday, April 14 from 11am to 2pm at the Hastings Masonic Center. They will be serving meat sauce spaghetti, salad, bread, and dessert.
Phil Odom, the General Secretary for the Hastings Valley Scottish Rite, talks about what they do in our community.
Well Scottish Rite is the educational side of masonry. We do a lot of study and looking at how we ought to live our lives. And how our people have been treated in history. It’s really quite an interesting side of masonry. It’s a lot of fun. We do have a philanthropy for speech therapy. And our rite care speech therapy is within the Hastings Masonic Center building also.
They provide speech therapy to youth that need it and they provide it at no charge to low income families. Children 4 and under eat for free and it’s eight dollars a plate otherwise.
They will have dine in, carry out, and a drive up window will be in the alley as well.
Tickets are available now for the feed and you can call the Hastings Masonic Center at 402-462-5813 or email them at [email protected] for more information or to get tickets.
