The Nebraska baseball team will make its 16th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history this weekend when the Huskers visit Oklahoma City, for the NCAA Regionals. NU comes in with a record of 31-22 is in the Regional with No. 9 national seed Oklahoma State, UConn and Harvard. The Huskers open the tournament against No. 2 seed UConn on Friday, starting at noon. The Cowboys and Crimson square off Friday at 6 p.m. You can hear the Husker game on 1230 KHAS Radio with pregame starting at 11:30 a.m.

The UNO baseball program begins competition in its first-ever NCAA Division I Regional tonight at 9 p.m. against UCLA, No. 1 overall seed and Regional Host. UNO won the Summit League Championship and bring a record of 31-22-1. The Bruins finished the 2019 season with a record of 47-8. The program arguably had the best regular season in school history, with records for wins and conference wins. UCLA also won the Pac-12 title. Baylor and Loyola Marymount are also in the UCLA Regional.

Creighton returns to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2012 when they play in the Corvallis, Oregon Regional. Creighton plays Michigan at 3:00 pm today.
With a 38-11 overall record, the Creighton Baseball team will attempt to reach a Super Regional for the first time in program history. Oregon State faces Cincinnati in the other game of the Regional.

Hastings 5 Points Bank beat Platteview 5-1 last night at Duncan Field. Jacob Shaw and Laif Hultine all had 2 hits for Hastings. Riley Eckhardt was the winning pitcher for Hastings. He went five innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out two. 5 Points improves to 4-0 on the year and will host a tournament at Duncan Field this weekend playing Pender at 4:00 p.m. today. Saturday will have a 10:30 a.m. game with Omaha Central and a 6:00 p.m. game against Creighton Prep. Sunday has 2 games, 10:00 a.m. vs Ralston and 5:30 p.m. against Waverly.

The Toronto Raptors took game 1 of the NBA Finals in a 118-109 win over the Golden State Warriors. Game 2 will be Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Pregame show begins at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN Tri-Cities 1460/1550.

The Kansas City Royals beat Texas 4-2 last night. Same two teams play again today at 7:05 on The Breeze 94.5

The Stanley Cup finals will be back in action tomorrow night in St. Louis. The The Blues and Boston Bruins are tied at 1 game each. Puck Drops at 7:00 p.m. Game 4 is set for Monday.
