Nebraska Wins Governor’s Cup For Third Year in a Row

Site Selection Magazine has given Nebraska the Governor’s Cup for the most economic development projects per capita of any state in the country.

Governor Pete Ricketts says this is a great endorsement for Nebraska.

And what that does, is really recognizes that Nebraska is a great place for companies to invest. That those companies remain invested in these projects, they create jobs. And what that does is allow our Nebraska families to be able to pursue the careers they want, send their kids to school, go on that family vacation, and enjoy the good life in Nebraska. And, ultimately at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about.

Ricketts went on to say that Nebraska is the most fiscally stable state in the country, as well the second best for business cost and regulation, the seventh lowest unemployment rate, and the third highest wage growth in the country since 2014.

This is the third year in a row that Nebraska has won the Governor’s Cup.
