Robert R. “Bob” Clark, 85

Hastings resident Robert R. “Bob” Clark, 85, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019,
at Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, NE.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, January 12, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with
Pastor Greg Lindenberger officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Military
Honor Guard will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may
be given to First United Methodist Church or Hastings Food Bank. Visitation will be 6-8
p.m. Friday with family present and one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Private
condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com. Livingston Butler Volland
Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.

Bob was born September 26, 1933, in Lebanon, KS to Gladys Irene Leavitt. He graduated
from Esbon High School. Bob served in the US Army from January 1955 to January
1957. He married Roberta Kozak on October 20, 1963, in Grand Island, NE.

Bob was a plant manager for Werner Construction. He also worked in maintenance for
Samuelson Equipment and Masonic Temple. Bob was a member of Eagles, American
Legion, and a lifetime member of NRA.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys I. (Leavitt) Callaway; brother, Edward
Clark; and sister DeEtta Richards.
