Tom Bones Malone to Perform at Chautauqua Park on Sunday

HASTINGS – The Hastings Symphony Orchestra is hosting Tom Bones Malone for a free concert at Chautauqua Park on Sunday, starting at 3.

They will be asking for a free will donation to offset the costs of the concert.

Byron Jensen of the Hastings Symphony Orchestra says that Tom has a very impressive resume.

He appeared on both of the Blues Brothers Band Movies. He was in the back up band with the Blues Brothers in 1980 and again in 1998. He’s got, to his credit, over 1,000 appearances on albums and 4,000 appearances on television and movies. This is a man who has really probably touched about every aspect of pop culture. And we probably have heard him, we just didn’t know the name and so forth.

He was also apart of Paul Shaffer’s and the World’s Most Dangerous Band on the David Letterman Show, he was an alum of the Saturday Night Live Band, and he’s worked with many famous musicians from Tony Bennet to Lady Gaga.

The event is free and open to the public and is good for the whole family.
